My Approach
Do you believe something better is possible?
I am an Advanced EFT/Tapping Practitioner, accredited with the EFT & Mindfulness Centre and a Clinical Hypnotherapist, accredited with the GHR.
My approach to healing combines these two wonderful therapies with a sprinkling of breathwork, mindfulness and other strategies to regulate the nervous system.
The sessions are unique to you, your needs and your goals; tailoring the above tools to help you embrace transformation.
I conduct sessions on Zoom or face-to-face in the beautiful Suffolk village of Hessett.
What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT or Tapping, is a highly effective mind-body regulation tool. By gently tapping on specific acupressure points on the head, upper body and hand, you can find relief from unhelpful emotions and in turn alleviate physical symptoms and improve your general well-being.
EFT studies have shown this technique to help lower cortisol, a stress hormone in the body, by up to 24%, making it a powerful tool at bringing a sense of calm to your mind and body.
Work with me to explore your emotions and how they connect to past events, current physical symptoms, fears and beliefs.
What is hypnotherapy?
The practice of hypnotherapy is multi-faceted; combining an element of talk therapy, a guided induction or hypnosis and some therapeutic suggestion, producing a highly effective catalyst for change with multiple aspects of life.
Hypnosis itself is a completely natural state of focused attention and deep relaxation, much like that fuzzy feeling you might get when you're absorbed in a good book or film.
The deep relaxation that comes during hypnosis is proven to reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol in the body. When this happens, our cognitive ability and bodily systems realign and improve their functionality.
During this comfortable state of relaxation, your subconscious mind is open to the personalised, tailored suggestions I make. These suggestions help to create new pathways in your brain, enabling unwanted habits and beliefs to be replaced with more helpful, enabling behaviours and thought patterns.
